Across Borders of Fire

A Life Forged Through Fire, Shaped by Legacy
Sylvanus S. Konneh was born in LAMCO Yekepa in Nimba County, Liberia. His life story is one of extraordinary resilience — from witnessing war as a child to rebuilding identity through family legacy and cultural roots. Descendant of paramount chiefs and traditional leaders, he carries forward the legacy of the Konneh and Pabai lineages. Today, he shares his journey to inspire others facing displacement, loss, and the search for purpose.

War & Survival

Escaped the Liberian civil war in 1990 when rebel forces invaded. Lived through the violence, fear, and displacement that tore families apart across West Africa.
